Taofiki Oluwakemi Ambali was born on 10th August, 1973 at the Maternity Centre, Epe, Lagos State to the family of Late Mr. Ambali Kashoun and Late Mrs. Sarat Iyabo Ambali. He started his educational pursuit at the Solomon Memorial Primary, Epe, Lagos 1979-1985. He proceeded to Epe Grammar School, Epe for his Secondary School education in 1986 and 1992, where he obtained his Senior School Certificate(SSC).
Mr. Taofiki Ambali then proceeded to Lagos State Polytechnic, Isolo, where he studied Insurance and was awarded Ordinary Diploma in Insurance in 1995. In his quest for more academic pursuit, he was admitted into the Lagos State University, Ojo, and Graduated in 1997 with a Bachelor of Science (Honours) Degree in Economics.
Mr. T.O. Ambali was engaged into the Services of Lagos State through the Civil Service Commission as Industrial Officer II, Grade Level 08 in 2005 and rose to the Assistant Chief Industrial Officer, Grade Level 13 before he was Re-Designated to Procurement cadre as Assistant Chief Procurement Officer in May, 2012.
He served in the Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives (2000-2019), Lagos State Liaison Office, Abuja (2019-2021) as Head, Procurement and deployed to the Local Government Service Commission 1st November, 2021 till date.
In year 2002, he had the privilege of handling special assignment as a member of Muslim Pilgrim Ad-Hoc Committee and in year 2004 served as a Member of the Ground Breaking Ceremony of the Lekki Free Trade Zone(LFTZ).
He was a Senior Prefect at Epe Grammar School, Epe from 1990-1991, Member Editorial Board of Insurance and Actuarial Science Magazine, LASPOTECH Chapter 1994 and Treasurer, Lagos State Students’ Union Government (LASUSUG) from 1995-1996.
In addition, he is one of the Founding members of the popular Zero Interest Multipurpose Cooperative Society, Alausa, Lagos State.
In April, 2010, he became a Chartered Member of the Institute of Strategic Management, Nigeria (ISMN) and Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply Management of Nigeria (CIPSMN) in May, 2015.
Mr. Taofiki Oluwakemi Ambali, who loves reading, travelling and meeting people is happily married and blessed with children.
