Mr. Bodede Olusoji Amos -CAREER MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

Mr. Bodede Olusoji Amos was born in Agege Local Government Area of Lagos State on the 25th April, 1968.  He had his Primary School education in the year 1974-1980 and proceeded to Secondary School in the year 1980-1985.  He obtained BSc Degree in 1991 from the University of Ibadan and later an MPA Degree from the University of Lagos in year 2000.

He joined the Lagos State Civil Service on the 10th February, 1995 as a Personnel Officer II GL 08 in the Department of Board of Internal Revenue where he served from 1995-1999. During this period, he served as the Secretary to the Committee that planned and hosted the Joint Tax Board Meeting in Lagos State.

He was thereafter deployed to the Ministry of Establishment Training, Pension and Job Creation during the Asiwaju Bola Ahmeed Tinubu Administration.  He specifically served as the supervisor of the Job Registration Center at Agege Local Government. Later he was deployed to the Women Development Center, Pen Cinema for some years before he was moved to the state Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB). At SUBEB, he was made the Secretary to the Due Process Committee Chaired by Mrs. K. Dawodu (Retired Perm Sec. Min of Economic Planning & Budget).

Further in the Service, Mr. Bodede was moved to the Office of Transformation (Now OTCI) and became one of the pioneer Staff of the Branding, One Stop Public Enquiry Service (OSPES and Service Charter (BOS) Department of the Office. He assisted along with other Officers with the development of the Charter Documents of the 14 pilot MDAs for Service Charter. While at OTCI he got approval for the proposal of the BOS Department to organize Service Charter Week on annual basis to keep aglow the importance and relevance of the service delivery initiative. The event was eventually captured as an annual event in the State Calendar after it was officially launched by His Excellency Governor Babatunde Raji Fashola (SAN) in 2012.

In 2015, he was deployed to the State Treasury Office where he was the head of the Leaning and Development Division of the Admin and HR. He is currently at the Local Government Service Commission as the Director Career Management Department.

Mr. Bodede has been trained both locally and abroad. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Corporate Administration (ICAD) and also holds a Management Consulting Certificate with distinction from the Administrative Staff College of Nigeria (ASCON)

He is married with children, he plays football as a hobby and features regularly in the Football Team of any Agency he finds himself for the HOS games.
